Mark Cuban Sets Agency for Bitcoin and Disregard Gold
Mark Cuban stepped up to defend Bitcoin and doubted gold investment. The billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks revealed it in a Club Random podcast hosted by Bill Maher.
In one session, Bill Maher said he was anti-bitcoin and believed more in gold. Immediately, Cuban responded by stating that he would continue to maintain his investment in bitcoin.
“I want Bitcoin to fall further so I can buy again. If you have gold, you are a fool,” said Cuban, meansir Fortune, Monday (26/12/2022).
Bitcoin’s value has plunged more than 60 percent this year. In comparison, Maher said gold had never had a historical value, gold was even predicted to be a hedging asset.
However CUban immediately responded cons. According to him, investing in gold generally does not mean someone owns real gold.
This is not the first time Cuban has criticized gold investments. In 2019, he said in a Kitco News interview, “I hate gold. Gold is religion,”.
Cuban also recently observed the collapse of the crypto exchange company, FTX which put pressure on the crypto market in recent times. Even so, Cuban said he still believes in the potential of crypto.
“Separate the signal from the noise. There are a lot of people who make a lot of mistakes, but that doesn’t change the underlying values,” he said.
